REINZ is a national, voluntary organisation that provides products and services to approximately 13,000 agents throughout New Zealand. Rex gives you the ability to generate a REINZ Form of either Sales & Purchase Agreement, Tender Agreement or Auction Agreement type.
The integration exposes the full REINZ Form for that specified type. This allows you to generate a complete REINZ form entirely from within Rex. Some key information, like seller names, dates, phone numbers, email addresses and prices are pre-filled from information on the contract and listing record.
You can also download a PDF copy of the REINZ Form from within Rex from REINZ. The purpose of the integration is to allow you to perform key actions on a REINZ contract without having to leave Rex.
Please note that you are only able to send a form to REINZ once. You may duplicate it and amend it if you have made any mistakes.
REINZ Edition 43 Updates (April 2026)
Rex's REINZ eForms now align with REINZ Edition 43, released 21 April 2026. These changes apply to the Agreement for Sale and Purchase and the Auction Agreement, and are relevant to New Zealand users only.
What has changed:
- Chattels: Window Coverings now replaces the separate Blinds, Curtains, and Drapes items as a single entry, and an automatic garage door facility has been added.
- Pet Bond: A new Pet Bond field is now available in the Residential Tenancies section.
- GST Clause: The vendor GST section reflects the updated clause 1(b) structure.
- Improved Field Mapping: The data Rex pre-fills into both forms has been refined for better accuracy.
Please Note: These updates follow REINZ's Edition 43 form standard. Because Rex exposes the full REINZ form, the new fields appear automatically when you generate an Agreement for Sale and Purchase or Auction Agreement.
