Scheduling messages lets you prepare emails and SMS now and have Rex send them later, so you don't have to remember to send them yourself. It's handy when you're on leave and have marketing that needs to go out, or when you want reminders and tracks to run on their own.
This article covers the different ways you can schedule messages in Rex and where to manage them once they're scheduled.
How Can I Schedule Messages in Rex?
There are a few ways to schedule messages:
- Mail merges and bulk mail merges - schedule an email or SMS to one or many contacts. See - Scheduled Mail Merges and Bulk Mail Merges.
- Newsletters - choose a date and time to send when you finalise your newsletter. See - Finalising Your Newsletter.
- Tracks - set emails and SMS in a track to send automatically. See - Autosend SMS/Emails from Tracks.
Where Can I See and Change My Scheduled Messages?
Go to Other Lists > Communication Centre > Scheduled Messages. From there you can view or edit a scheduled message, change when it sends, or delete it so it doesn't send.
If a scheduled message can't be sent, it appears in Failed to Send, also under Communication Centre, where you can fix the problem and resend it.
For the steps, see - Communication Centre: Scheduled & Failed Messages.
❗ Please Note: Depending on your privileges, you may only see the scheduled messages you sent yourself, not your whole team's.
