Scheduled messages for tracks and reminders will assist you with auto-sending an email or/SMS when they’re due.
Which means instead of manually sending our merges when a reminder appears on your to-do list, this can be automated for you.
When creating an email/SMS reminder with a template attached, you have the option to mark it as “scheduled send”.
This is the same with Tracks via Settings > Tracks, Merge & Brochures > Tracks. When configuring reminders within a Track, you have an option to flag individual reminders as a 'scheduled' send.
You have the option to choose as specific send time, as well as who to send it from:
If you delete the reminder with the scheduled merge, it will no longer send.
If the option is greyed out and unavailable to you, it is because you do not have a merge template attached:
Please note: You are still able to complete these reminders in advance ahead of their scheduled send time if you see fit.
Also keep in mind that if you are admin and you're setting up a scheduled reminder for a merge to be sent from someone else, you must have the correct 'send on behalf of' privileges. If you're unsure if your user has these privileges, I recommend having your Super Admin look in to this.
