Scheduling a merge lets you write or set up your correspondence now and have Rex send it at a later date and time. This is handy for reminders, follow-ups or announcements you want to go out at a particular time, without having to remember to send them.

When you're sending a merge, you'll see a Schedule Send option in the dropdown next to the Send button.
Which Merges Can I Schedule?
You can schedule Email and SMS merges. Letters can't be scheduled, because they need to be printed and posted.
Please Note: To send SMS merges from Rex, you'll need to be signed up with one of the SMS providers Rex integrates with. For more on this, see - Local SMS & Service Integration.
How Do I Schedule a Single Mail Merge?
- Go to the record you want to send the merge from
- Click Merge > Send Email or Merge > Send SMS
- Fill out your merge
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Send and select Schedule Send
- Choose one of the default send times, or choose Other and enter the date and time
- Click Schedule Send
How Do I Schedule a Bulk Mail Merge?
- Go to Contacts, Properties or Listings
- Select the list of records you want to choose from (for example, All Contacts)
- Tick the checkboxes next to the records you want to send to
- Click Merge > Email or Merge > SMS
- Choose a template
- Click Continue to Step 2
- Make any content changes, then click Continue to Step 3
- Click the dropdown arrow next to Send and select Schedule Send
- Choose one of the default send times, or choose Other and enter the date and time
- Click Schedule Send
Do Communication Preferences Apply to Scheduled Merges?
Yes. Contacts who are marked as Do Not Contact, or who have Email or SMS blocked in their Communication Preferences, won't be sent a merge on that channel, whether it's sent now or scheduled for later.

Can I schedule a letter merge?
No. Only Email and SMS merges can be scheduled, because letters need to be printed and posted.
Why can't I send or schedule an SMS merge?
You'll need to be signed up with one of the SMS providers Rex integrates with. Also check the contact doesn't have SMS blocked in their Communication Preferences.
Can I pick my own send time?
Yes. Choose Other when scheduling, then enter the date and time you want.
