Domain works differently to Realestate.com.au, so the setup is different too. This article explains why, and shows each user how to control where their Domain enquiries are sent.
How Domain Leads Work
Domain relies on the information sent in each listing's data feed, which Rex updates every time you update a listing. This means any change you make in Domain's own back end won't feed back to Rex, and will be overwritten the next time that listing updates. To control where your Domain enquiries go, Rex has a dedicated Leads from Domain setting. Each user sets this from their own login.
There are three options, covered below.
Send Domain Leads to Your Office Email Only
Choose this if you'd like enquiries to go straight to your office or Outlook email, so you can reply to the client directly. Please Note: with this option the contact's details won't be captured in Rex, so the enquiry won't be auto-parsed (see Leads: Turning On Auto-Parsing for Leads) and you won't be able to use the Leads Auto-Responder.
- Go to My Profile in the top right-hand corner of Rex.
- Click My Settings.
- Click the Leads tab.
- Under Leads from Domain, select None.
- Click Save Changes.
Send Domain Leads to Your Leads Dropbox
Choose this to receive your Domain leads in Rex. Please Note: this needs to be done by each user who is listed as Agent 1 or 2 on a listing.
- Go to My Profile in the top right-hand corner of Rex.
- Click My Settings.
- Click the Leads tab.
- Under Leads from Domain, select Leads Dropbox.
- Click Save Changes.
Send Domain Leads to Both Your Leads Dropbox and Office Email
Choose this to receive enquiries in Rex and at your office email.
- Go to My Profile in the top right-hand corner of Rex.
- Click My Settings.
- Click the Leads tab.
- Under Leads from Domain, select Custom.
- Enter the email addresses you'd like the enquiry sent to, e.g. agent@yourrealestateoffice.com.au, 123.1234@leaddrop.rexsoftware.com (you can find your Leads Dropbox address by following Leads: Finding Your Leads Email Address).
- Click Save Changes.

After Setup: Force Upload to Domain
Please Note: Whenever you change your Leads from Domain setting, any current listings need to be Force Uploaded to Domain for the change to take effect. An admin team member can do this as one mass action. For more, see Portals & Publication: How do I Force Upload Multiple Listings?.
- Go to Listings > Current.
- Click the checkbox next to the listings you want to update.
- Click Publication Actions > Force Portal Upload.
- Choose Force Specific and select the Domain portal.
- Click Force Upload.
