We’ve introduced a useful new feature to make it easier for managers to keep track of critical approvals and tasks within Rex CRM. Here’s a breakdown of what’s new:

Approval Reminders;
You can now add reminders for internal approvals directly to tracks. This is perfect for tasks that need sign-offs, like vendor letters. -
Task Progress Paused Until Approval;
Once an approval is requested, the rest of the track won’t move forward until the approval is granted, ensuring no steps are skipped. -
Approval Process;
- Approvers can either approve or reject the request, and all communication history is automatically saved for transparency.
Notes:
- Super Admin Users have the ability to approve or reject any reminder, even if they’re not the assigned approver.

Both assignees and approvers will receive email notifications whenever a request is made or an approval is given, keeping everyone updated.
Why this matters:
- Managers have more control over tasks that need their approval, making it easier to monitor progress.
- Agents can quickly get the approvals they need while ensuring compliance with company processes.
- Greater accountability and transparency result in a smoother and more reliable approval process for important tasks.
This feature is designed to help streamline approval workflows and improve task management, giving everyone involved greater clarity throughout the process.
To use this feature;
- Select 'Tracks, Merge & Brochures' from the main menu
- Select 'Tracks' on the left side
- Open an existing Track or create a new one
- Click the Red 'plus' button to 'add new reminder'
- Set the 'Reminder Type' to 'Internal Approval'
The process of creating the Reminder remains the same from here, however you'll now have an option to include an 'Approver'
