Before you can interact with third party property data, it's necessary to ensure the property is correctly linked to the remote property of the provider.
More detail can be found at Connecting a Property.
Properties created through bulk import functionality are already connected to the provider they were imported from.
Once a property is connected either manually or automatically, a new tab is provided on the property record.
Note: The integration tabs may be found using the View More down arrow located next to the Documents tab.
The following functionality is provided:
- View record on RP Data
- Create CMA on RP Data
- Copy to record
- 'View detail' if available
Appropriate disclaimers are linked at the bottom of this section.
View record on RP Data
Clicking this button sends a request to the CoreLogic servers requesting access to the property record.
The reason we need to make this request before we provide the link is to authenticate with CoreLogic by logging in with the agent's credentials.
In return, we're given a link which expires momentarily. A new link is therefore required every time for security reasons.
With the link returned, we can view details about the property on RP Data.
Create CMA on RP Data
Clicking this button sends a request to the CoreLogic servers in the same way as viewing the record. In this instance we're given access
to the 'Comparative Market Analysis' feature of RP Data.
A new window is opened with Rex waiting in the background.
Copy to record
If the property has been created as part of a bulk import, this button will copy key details back to the local property record if they've been altered.
- If the property had existed in Rex prior to import, we can use this button to copy third party property details to the record instead of filling them out manually.
- Clicking this button will trigger the save workflow as details are altered.
- If we're happy that the third party details are in fact correct, we can hit [Save] to alter the local property record.
View Detail
In this instance, the view detail link provided in the History table provides details on the property vendors across each history item - displaying people's or company's names.
