If you're uploading images into a Rex Listing and they're showing upside down, this is generally due to meta data stored in the image file, saying how it should be displayed. While it may appear the correct way up on your computer, this meta data still tells other applications to display it incorrectly.
You won't be able to fix the image once it's in Rex, but there's a few actions you can take on the image externally to make sure it uploads into Rex the right way around next time you try.
Just follow these steps:
- Delete the image from the Rex Listing
- Open the image in an image editor program on your computer (such as 'Photoshop', 'Paint' or 'Preview')
- Rotate the image so that it's showing upside down
- Save changes
- Rotate the image back so that it's showing the correct way up
- Save changes again
Upload the image into Rex again now and you should find that it'll come through normally.
Important Note: If your images are ever upside down or sideways, it is 100% due to what we have stated above. To fix it, the steps above are guaranteed to resolve the issue.
