Keeping the Contract status up to date for your Listings is essential for ensuring that your Contract Reminders appear in the Dashboard, and that your Listings are showing in the correct status on the portals. You can change the status of a Contract entered against a Listing from the Legal tab.
To do this:
- Go to the Listing record
- Open the Legal Tab
- Hover over the Contract
- Click the action arrow
- Select Change Status from the dropdown
- From here you can change the status to; 'Accepted', 'Unconditional' or 'Settled'
- Click Yes next to the corresponding status
- Click Save
Once you change the 'Accepted' status to Yes, this information is pushed to the portals to show the listing is under contract. You can verify or 'lock' the 'Accepted' status by adding in a commission worksheet.
