AML Verification Statuses in Rex
Overview
Once an AML check has been submitted, Rex displays the verification status for each contact individually, as well as a collated status at the listing level. Statuses are updated automatically as FirstAML processes the verification.
This article explains what each status means, how the listing-level status is calculated, and how to access case details and audit history.
AML Verification Statuses
Each submitted contact has its own verification status, shown in the Submitted tab of the AML pop-up. Statuses are returned from FirstAML and mapped to the following displays in Rex:
| Rex Status | FirstAML Status | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | In Progress | The case has been submitted and verification is underway. No action is required from the agent at this stage. |
| Verified | Pass | The contact has passed AML verification. No further action is required. |
| Review | Consider / Not Needed | The case requires attention. The agent must go to the FirstAML console to review and progress it manually. |
| Failed | Fail | Verification was unsuccessful. The agent must progress the case in FirstAML. |
Note: The action button will only appear if a case URL is available. If no button is visible, refer to the Troubleshooting & Errors article.
Last Checked Timestamp
Each contact in the Submitted tab displays a last AML check timestamp — the date and time the status was most recently updated. Use this to confirm whether a status is current or if a refresh may be needed.
Collated AML Status on the Listing View
Rex displays a single collated AML status on the listing to give you an at-a-glance summary of where all contacts stand.

|---|---|
| Not Added | No contacts have been submitted yet. Also displays as Not Added (x of N) when some — but not all — related contacts have been submitted, where x is the number not yet submitted and N is the total number of related contacts. |
| Pending | All contacts have been submitted and at least one is still pending. |
| Needs Review | At least one contact has a Review status. |
| Failed | All contacts have been submitted and at least one has failed. Displays as Failed (x of N), where x is the number of failed contacts and N is the total number submitted. |
| Verified | All submitted contacts have been verified. |
