Overview
Once your listing has the right contacts linked and their details are complete, you can submit an AML check directly from Rex. The submission sends your contacts' details to FirstAML, where the verification process is completed.
This section walks you through everything from finding the AML section in your listing to submitting and progressing a case.
Where to Find the AML Section in a Listing
The AML section is accessible from any sale or rental listing in Rex CRM.
- Open a listing
- Scroll to the Contact Compliance section
- Click the AML button
This opens the AML pop-up where you can manage and submit verification checks for contacts linked to the listing.
If you do not see the AML button, the FirstAML integration may not be active for your account. Contact your administrator to confirm the integration has been set up.
Navigating the AML Pop-up
The AML pop-up has two tabs:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Pending Submission | Contacts linked to the listing who have not yet been submitted for AML verification |
| Submitted | Contacts who have already been submitted, along with their current verification status |
When you first open the pop-up on a new listing, the Pending Submission tab will be empty until related contacts have been added to the listing.
Not seeing your contacts? Make sure they have been added as a listing owner, purchaser, or tenant
Selecting an Office for Your Submission
Before selecting contacts, you will be asked to choose an office from a dropdown. This is the FirstAML office the case will be submitted under.
How the office list is populated:
- If you are assigned to one or more offices in FirstAML, only those offices will appear in the dropdown
- If you are a compliance admin with access to all offices, all offices in your organisation will be available
- If your organisation has no offices configured in FirstAML, the office dropdown will not appear and no office ID will be sent with the submission
The office you select applies to all contacts in the submission. You cannot assign different offices to different contacts in the same batch.
The Office field is required. You must select an office before you can proceed with the submission.
Step-by-Step Submission Flow
- Navigate to a listing and click AML under Contact Compliance.
- Choose the relevant office from the Office dropdown.
- Under the Pending Submission tab, select the contacts you want to submit for AML verification.
Contacts are grouped by role: Listing Owners (sellers) and Purchasers / Tenants (buyers)
You can select contacts from one or both groups in a single submission - Click Submit.
A confirmation banner will appear confirming the case has been sent to FirstAML. The submitted contacts will move to the Submitted tab with a default status of Pending.
