Your Personal Profile is where you control how your Rex calendar looks and behaves for you. Settings here apply only to your user account, not to your whole agency.
This article covers the four calendar settings in your Personal Profile:
- Default calendar view
- Week start day
- Working hours
- Guest matching
To access these settings, click your profile icon in the top right of Rex and select Personal Profile, then scroll to the calendar settings section.
Default Calendar View
You can set the view your calendar opens in by default. The available options are:
- Day view
- Week view
- Both Day and Week view
For more detail on switching views once you're in the calendar, see Calendar: Interacting with the Calendar Interface.
Week Start Day
You can change the day your calendar week starts on. The available options are:
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Monday
Working Hours
You can set your working hours for the calendar. Any hours outside your working hours will appear grey on your calendar view, and will also affect your availability in the Find A Time dialog.
Please Note: You can still add appointments outside your set working hours. The grey shading is a visual cue, not a restriction.
You can either set general working hours (for example, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or set different hours for each day of the week.
Guest Matching
When guests are invited to a Rex appointment, Rex will try to match them against an existing user or contact record. If no match is found, Rex will create a new contact record.
You can choose how Rex matches guests against your contacts:
- Any contact: Rex will check every contact record in your account
- Contacts that I own: Rex will only check contacts you are the owner of
- Contacts where I have update rights: Rex will only check contacts you have edit permission for
