In the previous articles, we covered the best practice around Tracks and how to add Tracks. In this video we’ll briefly address editing Tracks and other tracking progress.
We’re going to use a demo Track as an example. When you click on it, a large dialog comes up – what it shows you on the right hand side is;
- A summary of the number of reminders that have been completed when the Track started.
- When it’s expected to finish and the number of reminders still pending.
You can look through all the reminders that have been completed. You can click and see the change in the progress bar. You can also complete items from this section as well. If you’re going away or you think that you’re following someone up too much – you can reschedule the Track so that you can put it back by a couple of weeks – and that will push all of the tasks back by the relevant period.
Let's say you’re rescheduling this Track from the 19th Sep which is the next due date to the 25th Oct, for example. When you click ‘done,’ you‘ll see that all of the tasks are pushed back by the relative period that the Track has created. Typically in a Track, you’ll have a task that is due within a day of the start date or within a week of a start date, and Rex will dynamically update those if you reschedule.
You can also reassign all the tasks in a Track. You can reassign to another user in the system. You can also terminate a Track and cancel it – so it will remove all of these tasks but will keep a record in the bottom of the reminder section of all of the tasks that have been completed.
In this ‘demo track,’ you’ll see that when you open up the ‘cold prospect’ Track the colour has changed. Tracks can be assigned different colours in the admin section, which is a separate topic.
