To begin, simply install the application from https://rcorp-cdn.s3.amazonaws.com/installers/r2/adl/setup.exe
The Rex ADL Connector is packaged in a way that allows for easy download, installation and update functionality. When presented with the Install Application screen. Click 'Install' to begin. Please note that it is necessary for ADL Forms to be already installed on the system.
While running the application under Windows 8, you may be presented with the following screen which advises that Windows protected your PC.
- Windows SmartScreen (originally introduced in Internet Explorer but now integrated into Windows) presents a new security layer to protect against installation of malware.
- In this instance the Rex ADL Connector application is trusted software and this dialog only presents a precaution.
- Click More info then Run Anyway.
