To prevent spam from creeping into your Email Dropbox, only emails sent from 'Trusted Email Addresses' will be accepted. If you or someone else sends an email to your Dropbox address from an un-trusted address, the email will be rejected by Rex and you will receive an email back informing you of the rejection.
By default, your Rex login email address has already been configured as a Trusted Email Address.
If you have other email addresses or aliases from which you send mail, you should configure them by adding them to your Trusted Email Addresses:
- In the top right-hand corner of Rex, click on the icon that shows your initials (eg "RT") or your Profile Picture
- Select My Settings
- Select Email Dropbox from the left hand menu
- Select the icon for Add Trusted Email
For example, if your email address is email@example.com, but you also have a personal assistant that receives and deals with emails on your behalf at firstname.lastname@example.org, then you'd want to add email@example.com to your trusted email addresses as well.
