When you've logged in to Pocket Kiosk, you can change some of the settings by tapping on the icon highlighted below (Image shown in tablet landscape mode):
Once you tap on that button, you'll have several options - see them listed underneath the following image:
- This section shows who you're currently logged in as. If this isn't you, then you may need to log out and use your own credentials.
- If you are logged in as someone else, the attendees of the open home may not show up in your contacts list. So make sure you check this.
- This shows the account the open homes are on, as well as where the contacts will be saved/created. This should generally be set to your Rex account.
- This option allows you to decide if you want your details shown on the Kiosk screen at the open home.
- This option allows you to decide if you want the listing address to show on the Kiosk screen at the open home.
- This section allows you to customise the greeting message that will display on the Kiosk screen.
- This last section will allow you to set the way that Rex will deal with duplicate contacts.
- There are 3 options, depending on the option chosen, Rex will deduplicate the contacts:
- Contacts that I own: Will only deduplicate contacts is their records are owned by you in Rex.
- Contacts where I have update rights: Will deduplicate any contacts that you have read & update rights for. (Meaning you don't need to be the record owner, just have the update permissions)
- Any contact: Any contact that matches another in your Rex database will be merged with the existing contact.
