This section is accessed from Settings > Auto Updates > Content Overrides. Here you can set the text that appears in your Match Alerts/Automatic Updates.
Warning: These are advanced settings that greatly affect the operation of the application. Use caution and read help text carefully before changing them. If you have any doubts please contact Rex support.
Setting Override text
You'll notice that the page is split into three sections, where you can update the default text that is sent when any of the below is performed:
- Price Reduction Alerts - these are the automatic updates that are sent when you trigger the price reduction workflow
- New Listing Alerts - these are the Automatic Updates (Match Alerts) that are sent to your buys when you publish a listing with matches their criteria
- Manual Match - this is email that is created when you do a manual match for a buyer
Each section is filled in the same way - to change, you need to:
- Choose either Email or SMS at the top of the section to update the text of that alert - please note 1 sms is 160 characters, so if you go over that, you will be charged extra when sending
- Tick the check box
- Change the Subject line if your updating the email
- Enter the new text - you can find the merge tags at the bottom of this article you can use in these templates
- Once completed, click Save Changes
Auto Update Text Merge Tags
Copy and paste the merge tags below (the text including the curly braces) if you want to pull that info into your template:
- {{names}} - Used to bring in the first name/names of the contact/contacts eg: John & Jane
- {{location.location_name}} - Office name
- {{location.website}} - Office webiste eg: www.johnsagency.com
- {{location.email}} - Office email eg. info@johnsagency.com
- {{location.phone}} - Office phone number
- {{location.fax}} - Office fax
- {{location.address_physical}} - Office physical location
- {{location.logo_image}} - Office Logo
Note: Other than the 'names' tag, the information for the tags above will be drawn from the Admin > Agency Settings & Branding section of your Rex account.
