Attaching a Hold to an Existing Contract

You can attach a hold to existing contracts in Rex. This might occur in two potential scenarios:

• In some offices, template contracts are created and entered into Rex by admin staff so that salespeople can simply add the relevant contacts/amounts/dates to the contract. This would mean that the contract would be entered before a hold can be taken on the listing.
• You’re an existing Rex client who has added the Projects Add-On to your subscription and you’re going through and entering all the holds onto your listings to ensure your reporting is accurate.

Some of these listings may already be at the contract stage and you need to link holds and contacts together. If either of the scenarios above occurs, follow the below steps:

1. Hover over the hold in the Holds section of the Legal tab of the listing

2. Click the drop down arrow (1 below)

3. Select Attach to Contract (2 below)
   

4. Select the contract you want to link the hold to from the drop-down menu
   

5. Click Done
