The Project Stages Module is almost identical in functionality to the Projects Module. All Stages in Rex must be linked to a Project Record.
The only differences between Projects and Project Stages are:
- On the Project Stage Record, the information in the Key Details section is different to a project:

- Project Stages cannot have 'sub-stages'. Instead, Stock Mode will display all attached Listings.
Note: If you’re selling for a project that does not have stages, you'll need to create an arbitrary Stage in Rex regardless. The system hierarchy requires Listings to be linked to Stages and Stages be linked to Projects, and will not work without all three records working together.
To create a new stage:
- Head to the appropriate Project Record
- Click Stock Mode
- You'll notice a red + Add new stage button in the Stages tab. Click this
- Add the stage name in the Stage Name field
- Click Save
Alternatively:
- Head to Listings > Project Stages
- Click the black + button beneath the Rex logo
- Select the appropriate Project Record to link in the Project field
- Add the stage name in the Stage Name field
- Click Save
