Adding an Unsubscribe Link

Sometimes you might want to hide the Rex default footer and build you own. Because the unsubscribe link is in the footer, you'll need to add your own in manually. This is a requirement for anti-spam laws so it's really important you include it. Not giving your contacts the option to unsubscribe from marketing could lead to fines for your office.

Adding it to your Newsletter

To get started you need to:

1. Create a new newsletter or open an existing draft, and go into Step 2
2. Add a Freeform Content Block
3. Once you've added it, hover over it and click the Edit button
4. Type in some text you want to be a link, for example - Click here to manage your subscription
5. Highlight the text
6. Click on the Link button
   
7. In the Protocol, change to Other 
8. Enter the following text into the URL field - {{unsubscribe_link}}
9. Click Ok 
10. Click Save
