Portal Settings

You can use the Portal settings to control which portals your listing will be sent to. This setting is found in the right-hand Publish panel.

Starting/Stopping/Pausing Portal Feeds

  1. In the right-hand Panel, hover over Portal Settings and click the red Edit button
  2. Hover over the Portal you want to modify the feed to
  3. Click on either:
    • Play - This will only appear if the feed to this portal is stopped. This will start the feed and send this listing to the Portal
    • Stop - This will only appear if the feed is active. It will send stop the feed to the listing, marking it as 'Off Market'.
    • Pause - Choosing this option will pause the feed. This means that no more updates will be sent to that portal. So if you make any changes, the listing will stay as is on that Portal
  4. Once you've finished, click Save

List of Portal Links

At the top of the Portal Settings window, you'll see the link for List of portal links. Use this option to add links to the corresponding portals. Once you have a link in there, clicking on it will take you to the listing on that site down. Realestate.com.au and Trademe.co.nz will automatically populate.

  1. Click on List of portal links
  2. Click Add a link on the portal you wish to add a link to
  3. Paste the link to the listing for the associated portal into listing link
  4. Click Save

If you want to edit or remove the link:

  1. Hover over the link you wish to remove and click the dropdown button to the right
  2. Choose either Edit Link or Remove Link

History

History gives you an overview of when and which portals the listing was sent to. To view more info:

  • In the right-hand History pane, click View Details
  • Alternatively, you can see all history for one portal by:
    1. Hovering over the Portal
    2. Click on the dropdown button
    3. Choosing View Portal History

Send IDs

It's possible to change the ID that is sent to the portals - this would be used to link to a different listing on a Portal. 

Important Note: While there's options to change the send ID, we don't recommend making any changes without being directed to by the Rex Support Team. You could potentially create duplicate records which may lead to additional charges from your portals.

To change the ID:

  1. Hover over the Portal you wish to modify the ID for
  2. Click on the dropdown button
  3. Choose Change send ID
  4. Enter the new ID
  5. Click Done

If you want to change the ID back to the default one:

  1. Hover over the Portal you wish to modify the ID for
  2. Click on the dropdown button
  3. Choose Revert to system send ID
  4. Click Confirm
