So there are a number of ways that you add Tags to Contact Records. You can add a predefined Rex Tag or an Adhoc Tag to an individual Contact Record.
You can also Mass Assign Tags to Contacts too.
Adding a System Tag to a Record
- Open the Contact Record
- From the right-hand pane, select the Red 'pen' icon next to 'Tags'
- Click the Grey drop-down box with the 'Tag' symbol
- Select a Tag from the drop-down
- This will add the selected Tag to the 'Tags' list
- Click 'Save Tags'
Adding an adhoc Tag to a Record
- Open the Contact Record
- From the right-hand pane, select the Red 'pen' icon next to Tags
- Free type the Tag name
- Press enter on your keypad to add the Tag to the list
- Once adhoc tags have been added, click 'Save Tags'
Mass assigning Tags to multiple Contact Records
- Go to the Contacts Module > All Contacts
- From here you can Filter your Contacts by a specific filter if needed
- Next, tick the box next to each Contact that you wan to assign a Tag to or you can tick the box at the top of the list to tick for all Contacts
- Click on Mass Actions > Add Tags
- Enter the Tag into the field or select a predefined tab by clicking on the Tag Icon
- Click Add Tags
